  • Program is designed for first-time homebuyers. First-time homebuyers is defined as someone who has not owned a home or has not held an interest in their primary residence in the last 3 years.
  • Eligible houses are single family homes, townhouses, or condominiums in Clarksville
  • Household income adjusted for household size is less than 80 percent of the Clarksville-Montgomery County median area income. The 2019 median income was $65000.
  • All participants are required to attend a free homebuyer education class.
  • Participants are eligible for up to $5000 downpayment and up to 5% of the closing costs.
  • These costs will be treated as a 0% interest loan, payable over 10 years. After the 10 years, the remaining balance becomes a grant with no further obligation.
